RESPONSIBILITIES:

manage networks at client sites
-
manage backup, security, and privacy
-
evaluate, specify, install and support all network hardware and software
-
troubleshoot hardware and software problems
-
respond to requests for emergency services
-
maintain written documentation
-
stay abreast of new technologies
-
serve as a member of the LMA Techwork team
REQUIREMENTS:
-
2 year college degree in computer science with emphasis on networking
-
minimum 3 years experience managing Windows networks
-
experience installing and supporting hardware and software
-
demonstrated ability to analyze problems, investigate, identify, and implement
solutions
-
demonstrated ability to set priorities and work independently
-
effective written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED:
-
B.S. degree in computer science with an emphasis in computer networking
-
Certifications in Information Technology
-
experience supporting technology in educational or library setting
HOURS:
This is a full time position with a typical schedule of standard business
hours and responsibility for evening and weekend coverage in case of emergencies.
